Wood 'n Me
When the sun rises in the east with a tinge of red and orange, my thoughts turn to family, the countryside and my unspoken innate desire to design and be creative. I’m no architect, engineer or fashion designer, but in wood I find comfort and inspiration. I think it is a desire to create useful wooden objects from old and discarded constructs of the past. For me, it is creating a story of the past, changing the form to create an engaging new function. Pick up a wind broken apricot limb and turn it into a beautiful kitchen utensil.

WoodBeGood is one of my passions - relaxation, design, creativity, craft business and hobby all rolled into one. I am a self-taught wood craftsman who is inspired by wood and design creativity. I continually think of objects in our world and how I can take that reality and turn it to the abstract of shape, design form and function.

WoodBeGood will create something for you, either by appointment, through purchase off the product list, or about three times a year, at selected craft markets across New Zealand. I can dispatch products worldwide to your doorstep provided there are no import and customs restrictions on wooden products.
